Santonio Holmes
Santonio Holmes’ choices often embodied everything a player should not do in the NFL. Holmes won a Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but was cut from the club following numerous run-ins with the law. Domestic violence, possession of marijuana, and disorderly conduct were all common occurrences during Holmes’ run on the gridiron.
Holmes then went to the Jets where he threw a glass at a fan, injuring her face, and telling another fan to kill themselves on Twitter, although Holmes claimed afterward that his account was hacked. His lack of effort with the Dolphins was the final nail in his NFL career as he gave up on his team and they publicly let him know about it.
