Steve Smith
Steve Smith was a truly great wide receiver in the NFL. Smith was great to the adoring fans of Carolina, but his career would be viewed in an even better light had he not punched a teammate in the face more than once.
Smith punched teammate Anthony Bright during a 2002 Carolina Panthers film session, damaging Bright’s face. The players settled their dust-up out of court while Smith was suspended by the Panthers for one game.
Six years later, Smith was at it again, this time punching teammate Ken Lucas during practice. Did the Panther organization come down harder on their star WR the second time? Um, well, sort of. Smith was suspended two games after slugging Lucas.
