Malik Sealy

Malik Sealy’s NBA career lasted eight seasons, and he finished with just under 5,000 points and 1,500 rebounds over stints with four separate clubs. But it was the Minnesota Timberwolves who retired his number after he died in 2000.

In May of that year, Sealy was tragically killed by a drunk driver who was going in the wrong direction along a highway in Minnesota. He was only 30 years old.
