Lorenzen Wright

Memphis product Lorenzen Wright was a star player in high school and college before he was drafted by his hometown Memphis Grizzlies.

Wright was the seventh overall pick in the NBA draft and he would go on to have a 13-year career. In 2010, Wright would lose his life in Memphis after he was shot and killed by his ex-wife at just 34 years old.
