Maureen Connolly

Maureen Connolly was a tennis prodigy, winning two U.S. Championships and winning all four Grand Slam events by her 19th birthday. Unfortunately, at age 19, her tennis career was cut short after a freak accident with her horse and a truck broke her leg.

Connolly died from ovarian cancer at age 34.
